To achieve better health for all in rural Balochistan.

Goal

The goal of the organization is to contribute in improving the standard of living in the rural parts of Balochistan through strengthening of institutions at the grass root for improved delivery of social services particularly intervention related with safe water including awareness about preventive health and safe sanitation.

Objectives

I. Build capacity of the sector professionals at the grass root level in the field of mobilization and organization of communities for drinking water, self sustained sanitation initiatives, installation and maintenance of sanitation facilities, and training of community hygiene promoters;

II. Nurture and strengthen new male and female groups to promote in particular hygiene education among the rural communities;

III. Establish and strengthen network of the actors involved in the field of water and sanitation across the province and foster linkages among resources aid agencies, implementing agencies, government departments, local bodies and communities;

IV. Update the knowledge of communities about latest developments and technologies in the field of environmental sanitation through dissemination of information;

V. Establishment of a resource Center at the provincial level in order to establish linkages and enhance capacity of existing working groups, NGOs, CBOs, Line departments, for improved delivery of social services, through provision of trainings, updated information on new developments, technologies.

VI. Increase awareness about safe drinking water , Promotion of household latrines, Public toilets, small scale sewerage/drainage and establishment of solid waste management schemes through NGOs/CBOs and communities in rural parts of the province;

VII. Organize and facilitate private sector's involvement in the programs;

VIII. Carry out research in the areas of key water and sanitation issues and propose technological solutions.
